After a Saturday working on site we managed to clear a lot more of the dead brambles and marked out the spaces for the Planting. The canes show where we have drilled 210 holes for the saplings from the woodland trust.
A short walk through at ground level after the brambles have been cleared a little more. A lovely sunny day and a glimpse of what we hope will become a very special place.
We have a small but significant patch of land that has been allocated for a nature / outdoor learning area. Students have been working throughout the year to clear sections of the site and prepare the ground for some tree planting in the Autumn. We hope to record the progress of this project with video diary.
